In my old life, I was extremely political, not so much anymore.  However, there are issues that I'm will work to promote until the day I die.

First, abortion.  Yes, I'm pro-choice.  I would hope that every responsible adult will practice birth control, especially safe sex.  At any rate, I feel that if a woman finds herself pregnant and doesn't want the child and will not give the child up for adoption, to consider abortion.  It seems harsh.  But, I feel that it's harsher to bring an unwanted child into the world without provisions for a loving mother and/or father.

Second, same-sex marriages.  Simply, if two people want to commit themselves to each other, who are we to disallow their happiness.  I believe that word is still in the preamble of the Constitution?

Third, euthinasia.  Again, it's simple for me.  If a person wants to die, no one will be able to stop that person.  Maybe, the person needs to be evaluated by a panel of experts and laymen to be given approval.  In the evaluation process, give the person counseling.  It may even change the person's mind, giving that person the choice of and power over his/her life.
